![]() ![]() It seems that (from what I'm reading out there, and on here) there IS a fix for this. So now I wonder what was the point of all this planning I was doing. So now there is constant fan noise smack dab in front of me at all times, making my Sceptre monitors speak over a far-from-silent noise floor. Wanted to hear my Presonus Sceptre S8's as they were meant to be heard - and what I spent the extra bucks on. I wanted "pin-drop" silence so I could mix/master in pristine "expensive studio" silence. After I had already designed the room(s) with isolated DAW computer outside the room and bought looong cables for DVI, HDMI, USB, and FireWire to bring everything into the control room, and leave the noise outside. Turning on the console in there for the first time really shocked me. I've had my 32AI sitting new-in-box for about 4 months now, already bought long before I even nailed my first wall framing. ![]() ![]() My recently finished home studio has it's control room basically soundproofed and a totally silent noise floor once the heavy doors are closed. ![]()
